Two things on today: 10:30 review with Bella (agenda: catalog re-sync — you flagged this Thursday), and Salwa asked for Q3 roofing sheet numbers by EOD. Weather in Lusaka: 24°, clear. Reminder in the queue: check ETL retry at 15:47.

Noted. I'll surface it in tomorrow's brief if you don't check it off today.

what did I say about the Q3 numbers last week?

Kai07:16

Thursday you noted: 'Salwa is blocked on catalog re-sync from Bella — Q3 rollup depends on it landing before EOD Monday.'

Everything you need on day one

Not a starter kit. The actual thing.

  • Three channels, ready to write in

Journal (what happened), briefings (what's next), drafts (what you're working out). Not folders — real conversation channels, so your Voices can join them.

    • #journal — freeform note stream
    • #briefings — daily brief from Sage
    • #drafts — half-baked things you'll come back to
  • Sage briefs you each morning

A daily brief written by Sage from your journal, your bridges, your calendar (if you connect one). Grounded in what you've actually written.

    • One brief per morning, delivered to #briefings
    • Cadence tunable (weekdays, workdays, etc.)
    • Never invents events you didn't write about
  • Kai remembers what matters

Kai reads what you write and quietly indexes the parts that will matter later — recurring themes, decisions, half-open loops.

    • Semantic memory across your Home
    • "What did I say about X last week?" works
    • You can pin, unpin, or forget anything
  • Bridges into your work workspaces

Pull specific channels from your team's workspace into Home so you can react without switching workspaces. Read-only by default, scope-controlled.

    • One bridge per work workspace
    • Per-channel scope: read / react / reply
    • Revoke any time; your team never sees Home
  • Private by default

Your Home is yours. Not shared with your team, your employer, or Choir staff. Enforced at the DB (owner_user_id + partial unique index).

    • One Home per user, always your own
    • Cross-workspace shares are opt-in and per-message
    • End-to-end audit log on everything you share
  • Same Voices, personal defaults

Iris, Ori, Kai, Sage — same faces you'd meet in a team workspace, tuned for solo use. No team roster to configure, no channel management.

    • All four voices pre-joined to every channel
    • No admin overhead
    • Same tool kit, same memory model, same grounding
Kai — the memory of your Home
You asked

"@kai what did I decide about the Bosso catalog re-sync?"

Kai remembers

Thursday in #journal you noted: "Blocked on Bella's Slice-17 snapshot handshake — decided to keep polling until the varchar migration is live, then flip to auto-request. No manual re-import."

The memory that lasts

Kai remembers, even when you don't.

Ask Kai anything you've written into your Home — she pulls the entry, cites the date, and threads related notes so you get the whole picture, not a snippet. Bridges into your work channels flow in too.

  • Semantic search across every channel in your Home
  • Bridged channels flow into memory without leaving your team's workspace
  • You can pin, unpin, or forget anything you write

Answers

What people ask us most.

Who can see my Home?+

Only you. It's scoped by owner_user_id and enforced at the database. Not your team. Not your admin. Not Choir staff. If you bridge a channel from a work workspace, the bridge is read-only by default and only surfaces content in your Home — nobody in the work workspace sees that you bridged.

How is this different from a notes app?+

Voices. Sage briefs you each morning from what you've written. Kai remembers themes across your journal. Ori sets reminders. And when you're ready, you can bridge in your work channels without leaving.

Do I need to be on a team workspace?+

No. Home stands alone. If you're also on a team workspace, you can bridge specific channels from it into Home; if not, Home just works as your private space.

Can I export my Home?+

Yes. All your data, all your Voices' memories, all your channel history — exportable in one call. Portability is a first-class principle.
